updates again!!!!!

its been so long and theres quite a number of things i
wanna jot down for memory sake....

1.
i was down with conjunctivities for like 3 wks and i missed out alot of fun stuffs (eg. megan's 1st bdae ). and its the first time i was mc from work for so long, a total of 7 days. it was really bad and i was not anywhere on the recovering track till i c the specialist. jus glad its all over now.

2.
work wise theres alot of changes, new shift, alt weekend off, shift rotations.... busy busy busy stress stress stress =( i hope i can get up to speed in my new role haiz....

3.
the proposal - 10Sep11, french kitchen, ritz carlton, tiffany =) love the ring thanks agg!
4.
tasmania and melb trip, a new kind of vacation (fly and drive), enjoy totally!

5.
and now its planning and $aving for our wedding... i guess the first thing to do will be to decide the date and book the banquet and rom dates...

birthday updates

long overdue but i should type it down to show my appreciation for ppl who have been nice to me on my 2* birthday =)

oops, this jus remind me of long overdue pics to upload on fb! had a early mass bdae cele for apr babies (xiuyun, siewying and me). buffet dinner at carlton hotel and drinks at the loof, it would be perfect to end it with kbox but i din have the courage to suggest till we all went home and set another outing for it. thanks for the capland vouchers!

surprise dessert treat from my co-workers during my supervisor's farewell dinner. I am thankful for fun lovin' co-workers at work =)

and on my actual day of coz i spent it with agg! thanks for the mbs, lion king, dinner, cake and auzzie traval guide! love the view!

and to my long lasting yalos! thanks for the dinner @ modesto, agg really enjoy the pasta! the dessert @ bakerzin and the tangs vouchers! and as u can tell from the pic, i use them on clinque facial care stuffs!

thanks to mum and dad for remembering my bdae and getting me the food i like! and finally wanna thank you all who had wished me! love you all!

staycation

staycation = stay at home vacation

my one week break and i am getting quite bored already... so much so that i went to help out at my auntie drink and fruits store. Tiring but fun, hope i can find some time in the near future to help out again! now i know how to peel orange skin with spoon =) and what blender to use for which type of fruits!

new shift structure

THE project is done, well at least the scary part is over =) phew! but as time passes and as apr end draws near, others are gg to be due soon and by then i have to start on another one... o no jus wen i tot my job is the most carefree of all, i was wrong. sg is still sg not usa. "shakes head" and to make it worse i am clearing my leaves in apr.

i am complaining too much liao, esp at work... very auntie liao lo heehee anw a part of me is taking things easy lol.

ok apr11 i am starting new shift structure, i am not complaining here i understand that gd things dun last, actually kinda looking forward to working only 2 days... and will be working day shift at the start too, hope this will benefit my health but it sure will hurt my paycheck. lol.

on a side note very tempted to buy kinnet, how i wish i won it at the dnd lucky draw but i din =( i din even win anything, waste my time!

this week is scary =( hope it will be over soon. and hope by apr everything will be good and i can go for a break! so tired needa nap already.

after so long... suddenly got the feel back =) its great but i will remember not to be too immersed in it. thanks agg for surprising me with the gf2! so now i will try to learn to take better landscape shots. so now we can both take pics together without me feeling -_-

monday

i love carefree monday, no work, no meet ups, just stay home =) finished packing my rm, my bag for hk trip and also my notes. and i am left with an evening jog and some tv shows to watch!

dec is one of the greatest mth besides apr heehee but it wun last long and 2011 will step in! looking forward to all the xmas parties and gatherings. feels good that i have completed my xmas shopping for the kids, jus left with gifts for xmas exchange for frens!

i know this is random but kfc black pepper chicken is really good...

one good weekend

had a good and fruitful weekend minus the fact dat i did not eat any dinner at home during my 4 days off heehee and i did not do any housework.

anw breakdown of wad i did: caught harry potter and mega mind, went to the dentist, hang out with 2 cute babies, celebrated shufen bdae, met up with agg(x3!), my cuz, yalos and my strat buddies!

had to go back to work tml, signzz. next week might be a mad rush, better dun tink abt it and live by the day!

back from the dentist

did 3 fillings in less den 1hr! and it was quite an experience! the polisher detach from the cable twice under high pressure when the dentist was polishing my teeth =( very scary but nothing bad happened. lol.

had food poisoning after eating KFC dat day but i dun think it was from the KFC as mum and granny also ate the same thing. i highly suspect that it was from the colorful xiaolongbaos the day before. it was quite bad and i took mc the next day too =(

i sense bad luck...

its been 6mths for me and a few yrs for granny? yum yum yum! so bloody good~

long weekend gonna be over soon...

am gonna go back to work tml nite, short work week doesn't bother me so much but friday's operation does... hopefully everything goes fast and smooth and everybody can enjoy the avastin party @ zirca. speaking of which i have no idea wad to wear. the theme is 80s, so mafan =( doubt i will win anything too, maybe i jus pop by with agg. they shd have jus push it earlier and make it a halloween's party lo.

so we did went to jb on sunday by the ktm. the ride was nice as i can see the whole railway tracks from sg to jb and it was fast! but the shopping center there (city square) did not appeal to us and we took the next train back after lunch, haha. we ate kenny rogers, cheaper but the servings was smaller but den sg serving was just too big!

yesterday was out celebrating sihui's bdae and later will be ktv session with the same gang. lol. maybe i will slot in a jogging session later as it will be 2 weeks w/o exercise.

looking forward to dec holidays! and am so ready for 2012!

uob travel jus replied me that the hokkaido self drive package is oni applicable for may-oct =( so we have to push it to next year ba... so now is to decide whether to go hk or climb mt kinabalu, i will love to go hk but AGG will prefer mt kinabalu. heeheehee.

anw i am thinking whether to buy another lot of H and a new cam...

anh had my third shift dinner yesterday, gyu kaku at chijmes, meat was nice, well prepared and fresh, jus tat i have to bbq myself =( dessert was not dat fantastic tho.

no tennis today so we might be taking the ktm to jb if we get the timing rite!

credit card annual fee wavier

do you know that its so easy to waive your annual card fee, its all automated and you dun even have to speak to an actual human being on the other side? dats for dbs btw. i am so glad that i called and i can get back some money =)

guess i will have one last holiday before twenty eleven! happy happy!

ipo craze

did join the ipo craze but din manage to get anything, got it off the market instead. my mood nowadays are quite affected by the market and its not very healthy. and i have to keep reminding myself that im doing it for the long term not looking at short term gains.

thanks AGG for being nice to me yesterday =) sorry if i seem unappreciative. pls be nice to me today too, i will be better today! we went to USS studio walk yesterday, it will be better if its not so crowded, but if its not crowded den its not singapore rite.

once again my chat box expired ...

gonna go for a new tennis workshop later but the weather seems bad and i tink my cramps gonna come soon too. haven been playing much since the last workshop, hopefully i am able to catch up.

well time passes so quickly and i better put some updates here before next year steps in. lol.

sept is great with one of my good friend getting married and bdae cele for agg and my bros. agg and me went to redang too and it was surprisingly better den expectation! affordable, beautiful, alot of activities to do, and not crowded at all! the long coach ride (1ohrs!) is ok for me as i am quite a season road tripper liao. so long as its not me driving its fine! i dun tink i have anymore trips this year to look forward to unless agg wanna go?????

work is good so far just tat i am involve in one of the big project for the coming new product and its giving me some stress. ahhhh!!!! and i am also quite active in OT as i have been gg to courses lately and medical checkup too, its OT also, cannot believe it!

and did i mention that i do not have to take the smelly and crowded mrt anymore, nah din bought a car, coe very high leh! jus dat i have company shuttle at outram liao, like finally.. but sometimes theres only me taking the outram shuttle as they have 10 pickup pts now, i tink its quite lame to have so many pickup pts but still i feel happy for the employees and hope they dun cancel my pick up pt due to the low capacity. pray hard!

ok better start preparing for tennis but the sky looks dark now...

time is life

im ashamed to admit that my top reasons for gg to the external course today was because of the novotel buffet lunch and ot pay. yeeks but im glad i got something meaningful out of this course. jus like any other motivational and self help courses, lots of great ideas and skills overload but as they say... if you dun use, u lose it!

as the title reveals, the course was abt time and stress management. haha the best course to pick for the buffet lunch, tinking dat it will be less stressful with minimal participation and true enuff! yes it was!

the course was able to motivate me to go running just now and to complete some readings on my project, not bad at all!

some brief notes for myself..

- he mentioned about writing a journal for life and it will be a great and priceless gift to ur kids in future. and you can also get a autobiographer to write a biography for ur parents or grandparents, cheaper alternative will be to get a student doing com studies to do it for a reasonable price.

-start with a quest in life and have mile markers along the way to help you get to ur goal

-have 2 holidays a year with one at least 10 days long!

-plan ur day

-nothing is impt to worry about

-be proactive

- be realistic

-perfectionism only leads to frustration

-prioritize to maximize

- coe = certificate of extortion

-time is life and never to let ppl steal ur life

and last but not least, the quality of life improves by the time allocated to the right activities - by Podolinsky, the speaker for today.

another course tml, hopefully i dun come back and bullshit abt firefighting or first aid...lol!

short weekend

its my short weekend but its even shorter for ahgohgoh but nevertheless was a great one with sunday morning spent gg to the equestrian event. our first time gg to the turf club and watching this sport, was really an eye opener =)

looking forward to meeting ahgohgoh for dinner later before the closing of my weekend =)
